Musico Manila is encouraging everyone especially the youth to have make difference for the country. The young people are the future generation. Through active engagement, youth can take on ownership and become lifelong contributors to the society to improve the lives of each and everyone.
Globe Telecom Inc. believes the power of youth. The company knows the young Filipinos can create invigorating and inspiring innovations to address social problems in the country, that’s why they created a competition entitled Cat@lyst Revolution 2013.
Tatoo, powered by globe, in partnership with Global Shapers Manila, launched the Cat@lyst Revolution 2013, a nationwide competition encouraging young Filipinos to create projects that could change social change with the help of modern technology.
The competition is open all information and communications technology (ICT)-based proposals or ideas from young Filipinos. Anybody ages 18 to 30 years old are welcome to present proposals about creating a mobile app, web site or any system involving technology and communications that focus in providing solutions to real community problems. It could be solutions for air pollution traffic enforcement, crime prevention, among others.
The proposals will be judged according to innovation implementation feasibility and impact on the society. There will five winners who will receive Php 200,000 each for program development as well as ICT support to see through the ideation, distillation and incubation of technology-based innovations useful to catalyze change in local communities. The winners will be announced during the Tatt Awards in June.
Interested applicants must downloaded an application from the Cat@lyst web site www.catalyst.com.ph to be filled up and submitted via email. You must also submit a one-minute video entry of your proposal from May 2 to 31.
