YouTube personalities Sam Tsui and Kurt Hugo are now in the Philippines to serenade Filipino fans for their upcoming concert on June 25-26 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
In the recent presscon, Sam and Kurt were excited to come in Manila and to see their Filipino fans. The duo also mentioned that they might try the Filipino streetfood, balut.
The duo has touched thousands of people around the world through their collaborative covers of hits by Adele, Britney Spears, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift. They’re also known for their creative mash-ups and medleys.
By the way, Sam and Kurt gained more widespread popularity in 2009, when they covered Michael Jackson songs, which gained of more than 32 million views.
Sam has been hailed as an internet singing sensation, along with his production partner Kurt was among the first musicians to establish a hugely popular music-focused channel on Youtube. Currently, he has more than a million subscribers on his YouTube account.
On the other hand, Kurt is a songwriter, director and producer of films, music videos and recordings. He is the man behind the production of most Sam Tsui’s music and videos, and also known for collaborating with other YouTube stars and musicians.
