Diamonds is one of the songs on Rihanna’s upcoming seventh studio album Unapologetic which was premiered on September 26, 2012, during the Elvis Duran and the Morning Show and was released the the other day.
The three minutes and 45 seconds song was written by Sia Furler in collaboration with Benjamin "Benny Blanco" Levin, Tor Erik Hermansen, and Mikkel S. Eriksen produced Blanco, as well as Eriksen and Hermansen under their production name StarGate.
The music video of the song began shooting on October 21, 2012 in Los Angeles, California. It was directed by her regular collaborator Anthony Mandler, who previously directed Rihanna's music videos for "Russian Roulette" (2009) and "Man Down" (2011).
Rihanna looks so emotional on the music video. Her haircut and tattoo really catches my attention. It’s so cool. The lyrics tells "unhealthy relationships" just like the previous singles of Rihanna.
